Born: 866AD

Revna grew up on the northern borders of Northumbria near the river Tweed and the land of the Scots.

As the raids across the Tweed from the Scots increased, Revna and her family moved further south in to Northumbria. During this period she met her husband Anund, a Hurscal in the army of Guthfrith. Upon Guthfrith’s death Revna and Anund settled in the wapentakes of Hamestan on the southern banks of the river Mersey. Anund become a major land owner and he and his warband fought for the Kings of Northumbria.

In the year 910 Anund was summoned to join the Viking army invading Mecia. Many viking including the kings of Northumbria and Anund were killed at the Battle of Tettenhall.

Revna remained in Northumbria and managed the lands her late husband had aquired.
